Andrew is an actor, fight director and certified stage combat instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors, that has work from coast to coast. He holds a BA in Theatre from The University
of Kentucky and an MA in Theatre from Louisiana Tech University where he
studied performance and stage movement under SAFD Fight Master Mark D.
Guinn. He is an advanced actor/combatant with the British Society of Screen and
Stage Combat. He is also the co-founder
of Rat Pack Production. Andrew currently
teaches stage combat at the University of Kentucky and does private classes in Louisiana. He is one of the lead motion capture artists
for the Saint’s Row videogame franchise. His recent fight directing credits include The Three Musketeers at Woodford Theatre, Romeo and Juliet and Les liaisons dangereuses at University of Kentucky. Some of his most
recent roles on the stage include Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire, Hamlet in Living Dead in Denmark, Dan in Down the Road and Dr. Stuart, the lead character
in the outdoor drama Horn in the West, in
Boone, North Carolina. Rat Pack Productions is the resident fight director at the theatre.
Jake Guinn - Founder
Jake is an actor with a decade of training in stage combat and stunt work. A native of Louisiana, Jacob couldn't be happier than when he is on stage; however, he also greatly enjoys working with actors and choreographing scenes of violence. Jacob has worked in the Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas region as a fight director and stage combat instructor and has also choreographed in West Virginia, North Carolina and Ohio. Jacob has worked extensively with such teachers as Fight Master k. Jenny Jones, Fight Master Brian Byrnes, and Fight Master Mark "Rat" Guinn. He is also the co-founder of Rat Pack Productions,. Jacob is a hard-working individual who remains enthusiastic in any environment.Jason Paul Tate is an actor, fight director, pyrotechnician and firearms specialist and certified stage combat instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors. He is an advanced actor/combatant proficient in all 8 weapons recognized by the society. Tate most recently directed fights and designed stunts for a production of Shakespeare's Henry V in Corpus Christi, TX. A native Kentuckian, he now resides in SW Florida where he is sometimes found performing or teaching with the Florida Repertory Theatre. In addition to directing violence he appears on the stage; having performed such roles as Claudius in Hamlet, Juan in Yerma and Hortensio in The Tamer Tamed. Of course, Tate is also well known for his villainous portrayal of Capt. Mackenzie at Horn in the West, where he serves as a master pyrotechnician and consultant.
Ben “Dutch” Porch is an actor, historical/military advisor, stunt performer, and firearms coordinator. He began working with the crew of Rat Pack Productions in 2007 and had been with them ever since. He is an Advanced/Actor Combatant and is proficient in all 8 weapons styles with the Society of American Fight Directors and is currently studying stage combat with Fight Master Mark “Rat” Guinn at Louisiana Tech University. Ben has been in fight and stunt shows all over the southeast and has been a guest instructor at his alma mater, North Greenville University. His acting credits include Arbuckle (Blue Jacket!), Toby Miller (Horn in the West), Banquo (Macbeth), and Keller (All My Sons). Ben’s love for stage combat is complemented by his love for firearms; he finds teaching actors to sight a rifle just as rewarding as teaching them how to execute a ballestra.
Chris "Lito" Tamez
Chris “Lito” Tamez is an Advanced Actor/Combatant in the SAFD with recognitions in all eight weapon disciplines. He has a BA in English from Asbury College and an MA in Theatre from Louisiana Tech University. During his time in Louisiana, Lito had the opportunity to train and work with Mark “Rat” Guinn. In the past he has served as fight director for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Peter Pan, and co-fight directed with other members, Jake Guinn and Ben Porch, on Richard III. Lito has taught stage combat to students from age 6 to age 40. He has taught at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln Nebraska. Ultimately, Lito desires to be a Certified Instructor of Stage Combat in the SAFD, and to have an acting studio that will give actors training in disciplines such as: stage combat, martial arts, dance, clown, and other physical acting styles. He currently resides in Lexington, KY and works as an adjunct professor for Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
Robert Aronowitz is an Actor, Director, Teacher, and Stage Combatant located in Central Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with his BFA in Musical Theatre.
He is a recognized Advance Actor/Combatant and holds weapon proficiencies in all 8 weapons offered by both the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) and the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat(BASSC).
His recent fight credits include fight choreography for: “Dangerous Liaisons”(University of Central Florida), "Living Dead in Denmark" (Daniel Boone Amphitheater), "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Orlando Shakespeare Theater), "Twelfth Night" (University of Central Florida), and "The Chimes" (University of Central Florida).
He is originally from Jupiter, FL but doesn't usually tell people that to avoid planet jokes. He currently resides in Orlando and is the instructor of Stage Combat at the University of Central Florida.
Molly Donahue is a director, a stage manager and an advanced actor combatant. Gathering her training between Christopher Newport University (CNU) and Horn in the West of Boone, NC, she is now recognized in all all eight weapons set forth by the SAFD. She is working toward her BA in Directing at CNU. Her past credits include directing (italicized) Life Under Water, Smoking Lesson, Brother Cain, Islands and Paranormal people. She is also a stage manager for TheaterCNU and Horn in the West. She hopes to start getting work as a fight captain, but mostly just wishes to continue her training in stage combat.
Jon is an Actor, Carpenter, and an Advanced Actor/Combatant
in the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD). He was recently recognized
in all 8 weapons offered by the SAFD and hopes to further his education in the
art of staged violence for as long as he is capable. Jon has been mentored by
the current members of Rat Pack Productions and “Rat” Guinn himself for
the last three years. In the Spring of 2012, Jon graduated from Western
Kentucky University with a BFA in Acting. During his time there, he choreographed
numerous fight scenes for student productions as well as mainstage productions
such as Oklahoma!, Noises Off, and Dangerous Liaisons. As
anyone can attest, Jon's fashion sense is nothing in comparison to Andrew Dylan
Ray, but he still hopes to be a valuable member of Rat Pack Productions despite
this. Jon is currently based in Cincinnati and hopes to one day become a
Certified Teacher with the SAFD so he can continue teaching good, safe stage
combat that holds artistic integrity as well.
